11 Easy Christmas Vocal Solos for All Voices

There are ENDLESS Christmas songs out there, as you probably know just from getting in the car, or shopping in a store...it's everywhere this time of year!

Problem is: not every Christmas song you hear makes a decent vocal solo.  Some songs are too "busy": too heavily produced, repetitive etc.

Sometimes, you need a good Christmas solo for church, a charity performance, a recital....sooooo many different things!

Not only THAT: you want one that's fairly easy. Nothing wrong with that! Not many of us have Mariah Carey skills!

Well, you're in luck! I've come up with a list of 11 fabulous and easy  Christmas vocal solos for you.  While some are obvious choices, some are gems that you may not have thought of!  Some of these are more religious in nature, and some are secular and would work anywhere!

'Tis the season for lots o' singing. Enjoy! Oh- and if you want to de-stress and enjoy some musical time for yourself, meet with me! I'd love to help you build your voice, holiday songs or ANY kinda song!

The Christmas Song - Made popular by the incomparable Nat King Cole, also check out the version his amazing daughter Natalie did, too!

What Child Is This? -Remember you can do these in lower keys! If you do, it's a fairly simple solo!

I Wonder as I Wander

Marshmallow World - this one is so corny and cute! Not as many people covered this one as you would think. If Dean Martin can make it cool, so can you!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Coventry Carol - tthis one is especially great for medium to low voices!

White Christmas

Blue Christmas -no, you don't have to do it exactly like The King. There are plenty of other versions out there you can try, all fairly simple!

Mele Kalikimaka (the Hawaiian Christmas Song)

My Favorite Things- while not exactly a Christmas song as it's from a Broadway musical and CAN be used year round, it kind of became one!

Pretty Paper- check out Willie Nelson's version! See, you don't need major pipes for any songs on this list. Just personality.

A lot of these songs have been covered by a massive, massive variety of voices across genres. What will YOU do to make it your own? Play with the key, the arrangement....have some fun.

I know you see a few you like, and maybe one or two you're not quite familar with. Excellent! Enjoy listening and then take it from there. If it speaks to you, it's meant to be!

Happy singing, and happy holidays!
